FOURTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ELECTRONIC COMMERCE AND ELECTRONIC BUSINESS

The fourth International Conference on electronic commerce and electronic business, organized by the E-commerce Agency, was held April 21 to 23, 2004 in Palic SCG.

The meeting was welcomed by Mr. Slavisa Mijuskovic, assisitant to the Serbian Minister of Science and protection of human environment and Mrs. Radmila Medakovic, representative of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

39 referrals and presentations (33 oral presentations and 6 within panel sections) were made before some 240 participants. The round table with a topic related to the payment cards in Serbia and Montenegro was also organized.

The presented papers confirm that domestic users of electonic business, although still not numerous, have an excellent knowledge of technological aspects of this activity, and even in the present period of economic crisis and absence of regulations on electronic business, they successfully develop and apply certain solutions in their everyday operations.
