FIFTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ELECTRONIC COMMERCE AND ELECTRONIC BUSINESS

The fifrth International Conference on electronic commerce and electronic business, organized by the E-commerce Agency, was held April 20 to 22, 2005 in Palic SCG.

The meeting was welcomed by Mr. Slavisa Mijuskovic, assisitant to the Serbian Minister of Science and protection of human environment and Mrs. Radmila Medakovic, representative of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

Introductory keynote presentation was given by Jean-Marc Tonti, Regional Manager of Visa International.

54 referrals and presentations were made before some 280 participants.

Conference participants was informed on recent achievements in the field of e-commerce and e-business and options for their implementation in SEE region. Analyses of the current situation, and directions of further development of electronic business, was also presented for the conference participants.
